Appointment summary draft

Once the clinical note is signed, AI fills in a draft summary: exercise recommendations from the clinic library, lifestyle advice, a follow-up plan and a safety checklist.

Required permissions:

When you close a visit with Complete Session, the Session Summary dialog opens. If the clinical note is already signed, a Draft with AI button appears at the top of that dialog — AI fills in the summary fields and you correct them before saving.

The draft carries an AI draft badge and the banner "AI-generated draft. Please review every item before saving." Nothing reaches the patient until you finish the visit with your own click.

How to do it

01

Sign the clinical note

This is the one hard condition. Without a signature the button is inactive, and trying to generate ends with "Sign the clinical note before drafting a summary." The summary is meant to describe something that has been closed, not a draft that is still going to change.

02

Click Draft with AI

The button states the cost — Costs 5 credits. While it works it reads Drafting summary…, and when it finishes, AI draft ready. Please review all sections.

03

Go through the four filled-in sections

  • Exercise recommendations — exercises from your clinic's library only. AI does not invent new entries; anything outside the library is rejected before you ever see the draft.
  • Lifestyle recommendations — grouped as Ergonomics, Sleep, Activity, Hydration, Stress.
  • Follow-up plan — a suggested interval (Next appointment in 14 days) or No specific next-appointment timing suggested, plus outcome measures to re-score.
  • Safety checklist — items to confirm with the patient, each with Relevance: high, medium or low.

You remove any recommendation with Remove this recommendation.

04

Correct it, re-draft it or discard it

  • Re-draft with AI asks "Replace current AI draft?" and warns that your edits will be lost. It costs another 5 credits.
  • Discard AI draft clears every AI-generated field — you can then fill the summary in by hand. Credits do not come back.

When something doesn't work

Warning

Sign the clinical note before drafting a summary.

What this means: The note is still a draft, or there is no note at all.

What to do: Go back to the Clinical Note panel, finish and sign the note, then open Session Summary again.
Warning

No exercises in the clinic library match this body region. Add exercises first, or draft the summary manually.

What this means: The exercise section is built from the clinic library only, and there is nothing there for this body region.

What to do: Add exercises in the [exercise library](/pomoc/funkcje/programy/biblioteka-cwiczen), or fill this section in yourself. No credits were charged.
Error

The AI returned an unexpected result. Please try again.

What this means: The model's response could not be read in the expected shape.

What to do: Generate again. If it keeps happening on the same appointment, fill the summary in by hand and report it to support.
Warning

The AI output did not pass safety review and was discarded. No credits were charged.

What this means: The model started writing a diagnosis, a medication or an interpretation of a test — none of which the summary assistant is allowed to do.

What to do: Fill the summary in yourself. The filter always runs and cannot be switched off.
Warning

Not enough AI credits.

What this means: The clinic balance is below the 5 credits a draft needs.

What to do: Look at [AI credits](/pomoc/funkcje/ai/kredyty-ai). You can still close the visit normally by filling the summary in by hand.

Who has access

Practitioner

The draft is generated by the practitioner conducting the visit — the same person who signed the note. Generating and discarding a draft both leave an entry in the audit log, and a credit-usage row appears on the AI Activity page.
