The practitioner profile is your own card — separate from the clinic's data. You maintain it under My account → My profile. You have one profile even if you work at several clinics: each of them shows the same photo, the same bio and the same education. Separately, on the clinic side, only the context of that one place is added: the room and a short note under the bio.
What is not there today. The separate public specialist page at heltio.pl/gabinet/… is switched off for the beta, and the clinic search has not launched. Two of the three toggles under Privacy therefore refer to pages that do not work yet. The third — booking via the public link — does work: it decides whether a patient can book with you from a link carrying your name.
How to do it
See what is missing
At the top of the profile sits a Complete your profile bar with a percentage and a Still to fill in list. A complete profile is nine items: a profile photo, a professional title, an about-me text, one specialization, one condition treated and one therapy method, an education entry, a language and a licence number.
Upload a photo and write about yourself
The Profile photo takes JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB. The Headline is one line along the lines of MSc physiotherapy, certified manual therapist.
About me has a Polish and an English version; completeness counts the Polish one, at least 80 characters. You can write the English version yourself or click Translate with DeepL — every month you get a free translation allowance, and beyond it translation costs AI credits.
Pick specializations, conditions and methods
The three lists come from Heltio's shared vocabulary, so a patient searching for "low back pain" sees the same term on every specialist. If something is missing from the vocabulary, click My specialization isn't listed and file a request — we review those within 3–5 business days.
Fill in Education too (institution, field, degree, years; there is a separate Currently studying here field) and Languages — Polish, English, German, Ukrainian, Russian, French and Spanish are available.
Confirm your licence to practise
On the Credentials tab you pick the type — PWZF – Physiotherapist, PWZ – Doctor or Other — enter the number and attach a PDF document up to 5 MB. Physiotherapists usually have five digits in the register, doctors seven.
After Submit for verification the status changes to Pending review. We check manually within 1–3 business days. On a positive verification, a Verified badge appears on your profile.
Set privacy
The Privacy tab has three independent toggles:
- Show me in the clinic finder — the search has not launched yet.
- Show me on the public clinic page — the public clinic page is switched off for the beta.
- Allow patients to book directly via public link — this one works today and is worth attention.
Whatever these settings say, the team always sees you in the internal calendar. Changes take effect within about half a minute.
When something doesn't work
File is too large. Maximum size is 5 MB
What this means: The profile photo or the credential document exceeds the limit.
Unsupported file type. Use JPG, PNG or WebP.
What this means: The photo is in another format — HEIC from a phone, or a PDF.
Only PDF files are accepted
What this means: The credential document was selected in a format other than PDF.
A licence number is 3 to 11 characters (digits or letters). Enter it exactly as it appears on your chamber certificate — physiotherapists (KIF) usually have 5 digits, doctors (NIL) 7.
What this means: The number entered falls outside the permitted length.
Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed. Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
What this means: The profile address contains diacritics, spaces or capital letters.
Failed to save privacy settings
What this means: The toggle change was not saved on the server side.
Who has access
Practitioner Clinic AdminThe profile is edited by its owner alone. Whoever manages the clinic sees the completeness of the team's profiles and sets the clinic context — the room and the public note — but does not change anyone else's photo, bio or specializations. The screen says so itself: These details are managed by the practitioner.
