The treatment plan you build on the patient card has two different views in the portal. Treatment Plan shows the whole journey — the phases and the discharge criteria. This week on your plan shows the next seven days and lets the patient tick off what they have done.
The patient does not edit the plan. They see what you wrote, and record their own completions.
How to do it
The phase timeline — inside the health records
The Treatment Plan card sits at the top of the Exercises tab, in the Summaries section. It shows:
- Current Phase with a Phase … of … counter and a percentage of phases completed,
- Estimated completion: …, when the plan has a date set,
- the Phase timeline — every phase labelled Upcoming, In progress, Completed or Skipped, with an estimate in weeks,
- Discharge criteria with a … of … met counter and a Met or Pending state on each.
This week on your plan
The Plan tab is a weekly view: one column per day, holding cards of type Exercise, Program item, Appointment, Material and Assessment. Above them sits the phase progress — Week … of …. Cards with no specific day go into Anytime this week, and an empty day shows Nothing scheduled for this day.
This tab is enabled for the whole Heltio deployment, not per clinic. If you cannot see it, that is not a clinic setting.
Under 1 is the phase progress, the Week … of … line. Under 3 are the column headings — one per day. Under 4 is a single card: an exercise, a program item, an appointment, a material or an assessment.
What the patient can do from a card
- Exercise — the Log it button opens the Log this exercise panel with Sets completed, Reps, Duration (seconds), Weight (kg) and Notes (optional) fields. Once saved, the card changes to Done today.
- Material — the patient opens the file or link and confirms they have read it; the card moves to Acknowledged. You see that acknowledgement on your side.
- Appointment and Assessment — the card leads to the right screen; deadlines read Due today or Due ….
When something doesn't work
No active treatment plan
What this means: The patient has no plan in the active state. The full message reads: “Your clinician will start a plan after your first appointment.”
Plan in preparation
What this means: A plan exists but was saved as a draft. The patient sees: “Your clinician is still preparing your plan. Check back soon.”
No phase in progress
What this means: The plan is active, but none of its phases has been started — or the previous one was closed and the next never began.
Could not load your plan
What this means: The weekly view did not fetch its data. The patient sees: “Something went wrong. Please try again in a moment.”
Could not update — try again
What this means: The acknowledgement of a material did not save.
Who has access
Practitioner Clinic AdminThe plan is created and run by someone with the right to edit patient data. The patient sees only their own plan in the selected clinic — the phases, materials and discharge criteria attached to their card.

Exercises and materials in a treatment-plan phase
A patient in the acute phase gets a different set from the same patient three months later: you attach exercises with prescriptions and materials with roles to a specific phase, and Heltio computes a readiness verdict from them.
