Heltio maintains three shared lists: Specializations, Conditions I treat and Methods I use. You do not create the entries yourself — you pick them from a ready-made list while editing your profile.
The reason is practical. A patient looking for a practice filters results by the very same entries. If everyone typed them in their own words, "manual therapy", "Manual Therapy" and "manual" would be three different filters and none of them would find everyone.
How to do it
Pick the entries on your profile
Open Edit profile. Three sections take selections from the lists: Specializations, Conditions I treat and Methods I use. The entries are grouped into categories — for example Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Medicine; Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Pelvic floor, Paediatric, Post-surgical, Sports; Manual, Movement / Exercise, Physical modalities, Dry needling, Education.
The limits: 5 specializations, 12 conditions and 12 methods. Once a limit is reached Heltio shows Maximum 5 selections reached. and will not add another entry.
Name your primary specialization
Among the specializations you have chosen, you mark one as primary with the Set as primary button. That is the one shown on the search result card when there is no room for all of them.
Report a missing entry
Under each list there is a link: My specialization isn't listed, This condition isn't listed, This therapy method isn't listed.
It opens the Request addition to taxonomy dialog with the fields Type, Polish name, English name (optional) and Why should this be added? (optional). Once sent, Heltio acknowledges with Request submitted. Thank you!, and the team reviews submissions within 3–5 working days.
Check whether the profile is complete
The Complete your profile indicator counts what is missing. Among the items are At least 1 specialization, At least 1 condition treated and At least 1 therapy method — alongside the photo, the professional title, the bio, education, languages and the professional licence number.
When something goes wrong
No results found.
What this means: The phrase you typed does not match any entry on the list.
Maximum 5 selections reached.
What this means: Specializations have a limit of five entries; conditions and methods twelve each.
Failed to submit request. Please try again.
What this means: The submission did not reach Heltio.
Who has access
PractitionerEvery practitioner picks the entries on their own profile — nobody sets them for you, and a practice Administrator does not change somebody else's profile.
Requests for new entries are reviewed by the Heltio team, not by the practice. There is no screen in the practice where you could add your own specialization on the spot — and that is deliberate: the lists are shared across the whole search.

Three shared lists you pick your professional profile from. You cannot add an entry of your own by hand — instead you suggest one, and Heltio reviews it.
