Heltio knows the Polish public holidays and writes them into the calendar by itself — including the movable feasts whose date changes every year. You do not have to enter them or keep track of them.
By default the practice is closed on every one of them: the working hours from the template do not apply that day, and the computed availability is empty. This page exists so you can name the exceptions — the holidays you work through anyway.
How to do it
Pick the year
The Year field switches the table. The holiday calendar is prepared several years ahead, so you can sort out next January right now.
Untick the holidays you work
The table has the columns Holiday, Date, Clinic closed and Notes. Clear the tick in the Clinic closed column next to the holiday on which the practice operates. The change is confirmed with Holiday updated.
The Notes column takes a short remark — for example on call 9–13 — visible only to the team.
Close everything at once
Mark all as closed for … restores the starting state for the whole year, after the question Confirm all closed? It is useful when a few holidays were opened last year and you want to start from a clean slate.
Which holidays these are
Thirteen days. Four are movable and Heltio computes them itself for every year.
| Holiday | Date |
|---|---|
| New Year's Day | 1 January |
| Epiphany (Three Kings) | 6 January |
| Easter Sunday | movable |
| Easter Monday | movable |
| Labour Day | 1 May |
| Constitution Day (3 May) | 3 May |
| Pentecost (Whit Sunday) | movable |
| Corpus Christi | movable |
| Assumption of the Blessed Virgin | 15 August |
| All Saints' Day | 1 November |
| Independence Day | 11 November |
| Christmas Day | 25 December |
| Boxing Day (Second Christmas Day) | 26 December |
When something goes wrong
Failed to load holidays.
What this means: The list did not load from the server.
Failed to save holiday observance.
What this means: A single change did not go through.
Failed to bulk-update holidays.
What this means: The operation across the whole year did not complete.
The work schedule feature is not enabled for this clinic.
What this means: The practice does not have the schedule module enabled, and public holidays are part of it.
Who has access
Clinic AdminOnly an administrator and the practice owner can change this; the decision applies to the whole site, not to a single person. The rest of the team sees the effect in the calendar but does not edit the table itself. Every toggle leaves an entry in the audit log.
