Indeks EDM works differently from medical events. The content of the records never reaches CeZ — the document stays in the Heltio repository, and what goes to P1 is an entry saying that such a document exists, whom it concerns and where it lies. A patient or another healthcare entity reaches it through that entry.
How to do it
The channel is switched on in the Reporting channels step of the P1 wizard, with the Indeks EDM (EDM-producing entities only) toggle. Before you do that, two fields have to be filled in.
Declare the entity type
In the Legal profile of the entity step, set the Entity type (RPWDL register entry). The Indeks EDM toggle is only available for types that produce electronic medical records. While Not declared stands there, no channel can be switched on.
Enter the EDM repository OID
In the Entity identification step fill in the EDM repository OID — the number P1 returns in its response to the repository registration, ending in …7.24. and a number.
Set the medical speciality code
The Medical speciality code comes from część X of the RPWDL register book. Indeks EDM sends it together with a descriptive name, so Heltio accepts only codes for which it has a confirmed name from the CeZ dictionary. Report a code outside that list to Heltio support.
Watch the entries on the dashboard
Once the channel is on, an Indeks EDM event type appears on the P1 Health Dashboard, next to Visit, Cancellation and Correction. The statuses and the Retry now button work exactly as they do for medical events.
When something does not work
This P1 capability lies outside the obligations of the declared entity type, so it cannot be switched on. Change the entity type or leave the capability off.
What this means: An attempt to switch Indeks EDM on for an entity type that does not produce electronic medical records.
Declare the entity type and the NFZ contract status before switching any P1 capability on.
What this means: The legal profile of the entity was skipped.
P1 integration is not configured for this clinic
What this means: The channel was switched on with incomplete entity details, or with no certificates.
Blocked — missing PESEL/passport
What this means: The index entry names a patient, and that patient has no identification number on their record.
Who has access
Clinic Admin PractitionerThe channel is switched on by a clinic administrator. A practitioner sees its effect on the visit and on the visit card, but does not change the configuration.
