Instead of sending patients off to a Heltio page by link, you can put booking directly on your own website. It is the same booking as at heltio.pl/book/… — just displayed on your site. The patient creates no account and does not sign in; the embedded frame also stores no login cookies.
Embedding is dormant until you add at least one allowed domain. That is a deliberate safeguard: without that list, no foreign site can display your booking on itself.
How to do it
Open Settings → Public Booking Link
The Public Booking Link card appears under Settings only when online booking is configured for your clinic and you have the right to edit clinic data. It has two tabs: Link (the address to copy plus a QR code for the waiting room) and Widget — and everything this article describes lives on the second one.
Add allowed domains
In the Allowed domains section type the exact origin of your website — https://your-clinic.com, for instance — and click Add. No path and no trailing slash. You can add up to ten domains; the counter beside the list shows how many you have.
Changes are saved from the unsaved-changes bar at the bottom of the screen. Heltio confirms with Allowed domains saved.
Build the embed code
The Embed code section has three settings:
- Display mode — Inline (embedded in the page) puts booking exactly where you place the script and adjusts the frame height itself. Floating button adds a fixed button in the corner of the screen; clicking it opens booking in a dialog (full screen on a phone).
- Language — Polski, English, Українська, Русский. The chosen language forces the booking language regardless of the patient's browser settings.
- Primary colour — the colour of the buttons inside the embedded booking. Match it to your site.
Click the copy icon above the code; Heltio confirms with Embed code copied to clipboard. Paste that single <script> tag into your page's HTML, where booking should appear.
Check the live preview
The Live preview section shows how booking will look once embedded, with the chosen language and colour. The preview only turns on after the first domain is saved — until then you see Add a domain above to enable the live preview.
When something doesn't work
Enter a valid origin, e.g. https://example.com (no path or trailing slash).
What this means: The address typed is not a bare origin — it has a path, a trailing slash, or is missing the https prefix.
This domain is already on the list.
What this means: The same origin was added earlier.
You can add at most 10 domains.
What this means: The allowed-domain list is full.
Could not save the allowed domains.
What this means: The save did not go through — usually a dropped connection.
Who has access
Clinic AdminThe embed code and the allowed-domain list are seen and changed by whoever may edit clinic data. The booking itself, once embedded, is public — the patient needs neither an account nor an invitation.
