Appointments do not appear in Google Calendar
Two-way sync with Google Calendar is switched off for every clinic and cannot be enabled today. You can push the schedule out over the iCal feed — from the same settings page.
Are you seeing these symptoms?
- Appointments from Heltio do not appear in Google Calendar
- The **Google Calendar** card shows a **Coming soon** badge instead of a button
- There is no button to connect Google Calendar
- A change made in Google Calendar does not come back to Heltio
There are two cards on the Integrations screen. Calendar Feed (iCal) works. Google Calendar — full two-way sync — is written but switched off for every clinic, so there is no fault here for you to fix.
Why it is switched off
The Google Calendar card shows only a Coming soon badge today. The app is waiting for verification by Google; until that is done, an attempt to connect would end on a refusal screen on Google's side, so Heltio does not offer it to anyone. The refusal is not merely a hidden button — the server rejects the connection request just the same if someone bypasses the interface.
The consequence is simple and worth knowing when you plan your work: no appointment reaches Google Calendar automatically today, and no change made in Google comes back to Heltio.
How to do it anyway
The iCal feed gives you one-way reading: appointments from Heltio appear in your calendar, but changes made there do not come back.
Generate the feed address
On the Calendar Feed (iCal) card click Generate feed URL. The card changes to Feed is active and shows the Feed URL field. The description leaves no doubt where this will work: "Subscribe to your schedule from any calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook)".
Add the address in Google Calendar
Copy URL puts the address on the clipboard and confirms with Feed URL copied to clipboard. In Google Calendar add it by subscribing to a calendar from a URL — not by importing a file, because an imported file will never refresh.
Invalidate the address when it falls into the wrong hands
Regenerate URL replaces the previous one; the app warns: "This will invalidate the current URL. Any existing calendar subscriptions will stop updating." Disable feed closes it altogether — you will see Feed has been disabled.
When something does not work
Coming soon
What this means: The badge on the **Google Calendar** card. The sync is waiting for Google to verify the app and is switched off for every clinic.
Feed is not enabled
What this means: The iCal feed has not yet been generated for this account.
This will invalidate the current URL. Any existing calendar subscriptions will stop updating.
What this means: Someone used **Regenerate URL**, so the previous address stopped working.
Who has access
Practitioner Clinic AdminThe Integrations screen is opened by the clinic administrator, but the iCal feed is personal: you generate it for yourself and see only your own schedule in it. There is no way today to share the whole team's schedule from one address.
